Author Guidelines
IJBUP journal publishes original scientific articles written according to rigorous academic research and ethical standards.
Duties of Authors
Accuracy, Transparency, and Reporting Standards
Authors must present their research clearly, accurately, and objectively. All methods, data, and results should be described in sufficient detail to allow verification and replication. For original research, underlying data must be represented faithfully and without manipulation.
Authors should retain raw data for at least two years after publication and be prepared to provide access upon request. Any form of data fabrication, falsification, or knowingly misleading reporting is considered a serious breach of ethical standards.
Originality and Prepublication
Manuscripts must be original and must not have been published or submitted elsewhere at the time of submission. Submissions that are revised or extended versions of working papers or papers previously presented at conferences may be considered, provided that this is clearly indicated. Preprints must be disclosed at the time of submission on the Title page or Cover letter.
All manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening, and any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is considered a serious ethical violation.
Authorship and Contribution Transparency
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have provided substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission. Contributions not meeting authorship criteria may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors are properly included and that there is full agreement on authorship order. Any changes to authorship after submission must be approved by all authors and justified to the Editor-in-Chief.
Use of Large Language Models (LLMs)
The use of LLMs, such as ChatGPT, is permitted for language editing and proofreading. AI-assisted text editing (grammar, spelling, tone, style) does not need to be declared. Generative writing or autonomous content creation must be clearly described in the Methods section. LLMs do not meet the criteria for authorship. Authors are fully responsible for the final version of the manuscript.
Corresponding Author
Authors should designate a corresponding author responsible for communication with the journal during submission, peer-review, and publication. The corresponding author should confirm:
-
All co-authors contributed substantially.
-
All co-authors agree with submission.
-
The submitted work is original, not plagiarized, and not under review elsewhere.
-
Permissions for third-party materials have been secured.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
All authors should disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest. All sources of financial support must be disclosed.
Data Availability Statement
Data supporting the findings of the study should be made publicly available unless legal, ethical, or contractual reasons prevent this. Authors must include a Data Availability Statement on the Title Page explaining where and how the data can be accessed, or clarifying if no data were generated or analyzed.
Human and/or Animal Research Subjects
Authors should follow applicable ethical standards when their research includes humans or animals.
Addressing Errors Post-publication
Authors must promptly inform the editorial office of any significant errors after publication. All co-authors must be informed. Authors must collaborate with editors to issue corrections, retractions, or notices as appropriate.

Our journal is an open-access journal. All articles are permanently free to read, download, copy, and distribute. Authors retain copyright; the journal receives publication and distribution rights.
